Re: Driving tips please
Wow - what a thread revival - and that's us all TOLD!
In all my 50 years of driving I would never have thought about any of these 'tips'...

Re: Driving tips please
[quote="texdds"]Controlling your own behavior while driving can ensure your safety as well as the safety of others. One safety tip is obvious: don't drive while under the influence. Not only is it illegal to drive while under the influence, but it is dangerous as well. Another safe driving tip is to never drive while distracted. Many distractions can occur in the vehicle. Don't drive while drowsy or tired. Many people think they won't fall asleep while driving or they have convinced themselves that they can keep themselves awake through a variety of methods. Wearing your seat belt is one of the easiest things you can do to ensure your safety. Too many people have died as a result of car accidents where they didn't wear their seat belts.

I would have thought that applied to ALL drivers, not just someone with a Morris!

I'll remove the bottles of Watneys red barrel and the Antelope asap.
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

And don't drive whilst knitting. It's not big and it's not clever! And you can drop a stitch.
Re: Driving tips please
That's a shame, I've almost finished a lovely cardigan, was hoping to finish it on the way to the shops.

Bee keeping a bit of a challenge too - restricted by the suit and smoke.
Fish tank on the passenger seat WAS a pain, especially when the Pirana's slopped
out onto my lap.
This health & safety/road safety lark is just silly.

Re: Driving tips please
---that restriction was probably responsible for the collapse of the bee population we're hearing so much about now.
