Even better if you could borrow the one in the pic to make a buck!I reckon there would be a market for those boot lids.

I saw one of those boot lids on a convertible I went to look at many years ago. Boot lid looked c**p and car looked even c**ppier

I have started building my own.

The mockup came first.

And now this, but I'm quite lazy and it will take me a lot of time to finish this. I'm planning to give it a bit sharper lines, yet complying with the body.

Oh, and it was first day from 5 months when Morris had it's front wings attached. Surely my restoration is sloooooow.

Hope lid wouldn't look like crap when I finish :)

Good for you and I wish you well in your endeavours with the restoration and the boot lid. :D
I for one do not find it ungainly or c--p. It is a good honest modification and does what it says on the packet.
Now if you want a real carbuncle on the back of your car see:- http://www.the2cvshop.co.uk/product/220 ... -extension.

Svantemann,
I would love to see some more pictures of your car. It looks very nice and seems to have lots of unusual extras fitted.

Almost there. Morris looks quite terrible, but I'm putting it into the rolling restoration state, as it just sits in garage, and I have to use boring diesel car all time.
