Miss fire back again, kangaroo up the hill from the cove, thought I wasnt going to get all the way up. First thought was lack of petrol in the tank, so got some juice, that didnt help.
So checked fuel pump, cleaned the dirty points, cleaned the filter, checked the plugs n points had a test run which was a bit better but not much.
Cant be that nice new (2 weeks) condenser! Pulled out a very old Lucas one from the tool box, fitted it and off we went.
Mmmm anyone had similar probs with new parts, wont say where I got it from as they didnt make it, only sent it.

Yes - many have - old condensers are the way to go. It's even driven some poor souls to convert to electronic ignition - rest their souls.....
