Quick Bulb Question

Post by brett »

OK, sorry for sounding really stupid
Of the two filament's in a headlight bulb i'm presuming that the dip beam is the one with the little cover over it and the main beam is the one without.

One of my bulbs has burnt out and i'm going to buy a new pair and this time i'm going to make sure that the headlights are wired up properly from the start.

Thank you in advance for reply's :D

Yes - but the wiring depends more on the beam the light throws....check against a wall/garage door.

As long as the wires are in the correct order in the bulb socket and you have the bulb fitted correctly in the light unit then they will be wired correctly. The bulb should only fit one way
