windscreen plastic trim

Post by swampy42 »

Hi
Have just fitted a windscreen and chrome trim (the plastic stuff that looks like chrome). I seem to remember reading in the past about leaving the trim before cutting it, to allow for shrinkage, but cannot remember the details, could anyone shed any light?
Cheers

I cut mine (from ESM) straight away 5 months ago and there has been no shrinkage.

Thanks for that. I think I'll do the same as I'm not entirely sure what the alternative would be.
