Oil Pressure

My MM has an oil pressure gauge, on a run cruising at 50-60 mpg it reads around 50.............is that what I should expect?

Yes - that's not bad - slightly down on a new engine which would be 60/70 psi. Are you using 20W50 oil - and when was it (and the filter) last changed ?

Yes Wilko 20/50 and the oil and filter changed about 1000 miles ago as was cylinder head gasket

Depends whether the MM stands for morris minor or series MM. :D
