Mini 11 bladed cooling fan
I am told that these fans are used by the people that use MM for rally/racing. They are sold by Mini spares and are made of plastic, and that they reduce noise. Has anyone any knowledge of using these cooling fans.

They push air rather than pull it like a Minor fan needs to.

Re: Mini 11 bladed cooling fan
If you want a plastic multi bladed fan suitable for a Minor 948cc/1098cc/1275cc you can use the six bladed plastic fan off a 1275cc Midget Pt No: 12G1597 £21.95. Use mounting bolts SH604111. Both items available from Moss Europe.
The MG Midget six bladed metal fan is no longer available and the above is advertised as the alternative.
You could also try and find a plastic 8 bladed fan from a Morris Marina 1.3 .

Re: Mini 11 bladed cooling fan
When I attempted to fit a Marina plastic fan to my Minor, it stopped me fitting the radiator as it's a lot thicker than the metal fan.

That is the problem with modifying things; it not always a straight fit and you end up having to modify something else to make the original modification/part fit! It all adds to the joy to owning a modified classic car
