Wiper Fuse blowing

Post by hammersmith »

Hi,
Hopefully I have downloaded a picture of my uprated fuse board. I have at the present a 7.5 spade fuse in the slot that covers the wipers and fuel gauge. For some reason the fuse keeps blowing. Can anyone help please as to where I should start looking.
Many thanks Mike[frame]Image[/frame]

Connect one component to the fuse at a time and see which one is blowing it

Try a 10 amp fuse! The wipers can take quite a current - especially on a dry-ish screen.

Many thanks, the fuse however seems to last for a short car journey when the wipers are operating, before it blows, it does not blow straight away. I will try a 10amp fuse Thanks Mike. :D
