Broken Halfshaft

Thanks for all the great tips everyone. I still haven't finished but am getting back into familiar territory! This job has stretched my patience though probably the weather as much as the work I think!

I struggled getting the front shackle pins through. They just would not line up through the bushes. The lip kept catching. I probably shouldn't have done it and I'm sure someone will tell me why but after a couple of hours of trying to get the pin through I measured the rubber bushes and they just seemed too big so I cut 1/4 inch off one each side. Put them back in and was able to slide the pin through by hand!

I will do all final tightening with it on the ground.
