Chrome Winter Protection

I remember reading in Practical Classic magazine some time back about a product that you applied to chrome to protect it over the winter. Can anyone remember what it was called? And where can I get it from?

I usually just smear grease or vasaline over the chrome but this tends to get very dirty after a while.

Car Polish unbuffed will work as well.
