Lucas ACR Alternator not charging

The advantages of an ammeter.......although a voltmeter would tell you in seconds if the battery was being charged...... You don't get anything much simpler than the Minor - anything else is just going to be even more troublesome, simply (!) because it will have more to go wrong.......
