Headlight wiring

Post by GeoffWills »

I am trying to reconnect my headlamps which were not connected when I bought the car. The part I am struggling to fined is the block connector that joins the wiring from the headlight switch. Currently it is hanging below dash but I can't find the other end to rejoin.

Any ideas where it may be ?

Hi Geoff, welcome to the forum.

Im not sure what you mean by a block connector, the wires come out of the loom and late cars have lugar connectors that fit onto the switch itself. Earlier cars just hae the insulation stripped off the wire and screwed into the switch. There is a connector with 3 wires for the dip switch which sits just above the clutch pedal.

Can you post a picture of the area and hopefully we can help :D

Thanks for the reply, I think from what you have said its probably the plug that fits in the dip switch. I will look tomorrow and if not try to post a photo.
