Re: Band with No Name
What kind of music ? a lot of good bands coming out of Sheffield is Samanthas still there
Re: Band with No Name
Flippin eck, Samanthas!!
No, a lot of the old clubs and discos have gone and as I seldom bother with town couldn't comment on the new ones. To be honest I only had a brief fling with these places at a time when I pretended I was growing up. It was fun to revisit the world of pop, as when I grew up I was a Rocker/Hippy while my best mate was a mod. Wow, contrasting lifestyles:)
My band plays original and cover material, with emphasis on 60s/70s blues/rock and smatterings of pop, soul, country. 3-piece, guitar and vocal harmony. Hang on.... try this:

Re: Band with No Name
I used to go to the northern soul allnighters at Sams
ime afraid I was a skinhead mod then.I now like all music including rock but I suppose I always did but mainly 60,s 70,s I enjoyed those videos .I think the singer could do a good springsteen cover maybe born to run or thunder road he has that sort of vocals I thought
[ps I ended up staying on the Manor a few night ]
