My car is in bits, getting ready for MOT on Wednesday, I have no time to get to a Moggy Specialist tomorrow.
I need to replace a steering rack boot.
Are they the same as for an old BMC Mini or late model MG midget?
Help would be appreciated

Same as Midget - it's the same rack! but upside down.... Not sure about Mini - but quite likely!

Thanks for that, thought it might be, but that helps the local parts place ought to have one for a mini, or a compatible on at any rate.
Just changed some eye bolt bushes, getting the rear lower arm back off the spigot is a bit of a swine. Seems counter intuitive to be braying the car with a heavy hammer.

Plus Gas is the answer... Mini boot may be same diameter - but possibly shorter. Go for Spridget if you can.

Take the old gaiter and get them to match it, or measure the extended length and diameter. Get some cable ties to secure the new gaiter, much easier than jubilee clips

Plus Gas + heat...and two large stillsons if necessary. Slacken back the lock nut first.
