Lucas 11AC alternator
Busy rebuilding my alternator and cannot remember where the insulating washers went on the 3 studs on the diode heat sink. Not sure if this is right or if I have lost a washer.

Re: Lucas 11AC alternator
Sorry -can't help with this one. Probably a guide on the internet. But an 11AC is a bit of an ancient piece of kit, with it's 4TR and 6RA external bits and pieces.....! Is it worth it??

Re: Lucas 11AC alternator
Looking at the imprints on the washers, the stud on the right should be insulated as the one at the top as they carry current and the stud at the left does not need a washer as it the fixing point for the heatsink to the back cover. Think this correct - unless someone knows differently.
