LCV RALLY GAYDON 2013

Post by TRIUMPH66 »

Is anyone from the SW of England going to Gaydon next month? If so, would you be interested in travelling up in convoy and we could meet up enroute? I live in Devon. If anyone's interested please PM me. Thanks Andrew.

I thought about going for the day Sunday.
But when I noticed it was going to cost me £25.00 to enter my van I thought better of it. Petrol on top of this say £50.00 an expensive day out.

Looking at the details, attending the rally is free - bringing a Minor will cost you £25

With this particular venue it's hard to do it differently as the museum is open to the public and the rally is in the museum carpark.
For anyone thinking of coming the museum is good value for money (vs museum entrance price) and don't forget to consider the other things you can do there as they're pretty entertaining (4x4 course, go kart track etc..)

If you pay the admission price into the museum ,you can use the ticket for a year for countless entries ,I use it quite a lot ,as I only live a 40 mins drive away.
Cheers Alex

Unfortunately we do not live close by so will not be able to just nip over to the museum when the fancy takes me,to use a valid ticket.

We attended the Commercial Vehicle Show at this venue in June.
The entry cost to the event was zero,it needed to be as we transported three vehicles over to it,fuel costs where quite high after we arrived back home.
