I've just replaced my brake flexible hoses with braided versions. No problems with that as the originals were looking a bit the worse for wear. However, how do you know when it's time to replace the braided versions in the future? I just used to pinch the traditional ones and if they looked a bit cracked, then it was time. With the braided ones, how can you tell so is it best to change them every so many years? Does anyone have any experience of this? It's a bit too late when the brake pedal hits the floor.

Many thanks, Colin.
