My Exhaust mounts have just failed after 22 years of service, so have purchased an exhaust fitting kit from a well known supplier. It was supplied with two rubber straps and clamps for the rear. My car has an additional strap and bracket by the silencer at the front, but this was not supplied within the kit
Is this front mount standard on 1098 cars or has someone modified my car over the years?

Re: Exhaust Mounts
My 1966 "1098" Traveller has only ever had just the two flexible strap mounts from new.
Re: Exhaust Mounts
Standard is just two mounts - one in front of the axle, and the other right at the back.
