Radio

Post by morris4doris »

I have existing setup for a radio in my car from a previous owner as in a cable attached to the chassis, a speaker and aerial.
I know that the moggie is poistivly earthed and don't really want to convert it so have bought a +ve radio.
What I want to confirm is in order to wire it in do you connect the earth (the wire to the chassis) to the earth (screw on the back of the radio) and the input to the negative of one of the fuses?
thanks

negative earth car and negative earth radio = neg to earth (chassis) positive to positive terminal

positive earth radio and positive earth car =positive to earth(chassis) negative to negative terminal

good luck :D
