Re: Monoblock cleaning
Patio Cleaner has around 5% hydrochloric acid according to the label on the can I used a few weeks ago - works a treat.

My missus is quite fond of soda crystals for cleaning pavements..bmcecosse wrote:Her indoors is having a bit of a rant about the monoblocking - any good tips for cleaning it? Obviously I have heard of GUNK - but any 'domestic' tips - or 'things to avoid' will be welcome !

I may just try that - thanks. I should explain the 'underseal' is a few tiny spots, smaller than 5p - attacking them with choke cleaner etc just seems to spread them out into a dark stain...... Good news is - she has found other things to worry about now - and seems to have 'forgotten' about the drive for the moment..... parking the modern car over the worst part seems to have helped the forgetfulness...
