Bumper Tube Fixing?
Can someone tell me how the bumper tubes, that stick out of the front panel, are attached to the body. I can not get the big nut that fastens the back part of the bumper off. Its rusted solid and the angles are sheared off the nut. I might need to grind the whole thing off and buy a new bumper tube
Someone heeeeeeelp!!!

Re: Bumper Tube Fixing?
Look up "Nut Splitter" on eBay. Even if you don't buy from there it will show you what you're looking for next time you visit your toolshop..........which sounds as though it could be quite soon! The actual bumper mounting rods and their brackets are welded to the front of the inner wheel arches and to the tie-plates respectively. There was actually a brand new, unused pair listed recently on eBay and I don't think they sold, but definitely go the nut-splitter way first!
Good luck!

A lot of people don't like them but I find them marvellous little contraptions
