hi am restoring a Austin morris van and have just got a new carb my carb on van has a breather on air filter and on body new one only has air filter breather will it make a difference to running of van as van starts and runs body breather is their on new carb just capped of and shoulden,t be to hard to return to two breathers but would be easier to leave as is hope this makes sense and help would be great cheers as far as aware still on original engine :)

Welcome to the forum. Your post is slightly unclear - what I gather is that you plan to fit a different carb (why??) - and it has a breather port, which is capped off?? It would be far better to use the breather - so un-cap it if you can!!
