Interior lights for convertible
Could someone let me know where the wiring for the saloon interior lights enters the A post. It would be handy to have interior lights under the dash or parcel shelf of our 65 convertible, thanks, John

The interior light takes its power straight fom the fuse box and earths through the door switch. The wire should be fed down from the top of the A post.
The canvas roof is obviously not a suitable place for an interior light so I would suggest mounting lights on the triangular bracing panels. The light must be insulated from the bodywork.
You could also mount a small light above the parcel shelf with the power taken from the inst panel wiring[frame]
