fuses of morris minor 1000
can u tell me what is the fuse voltage and Amper of fusebox fuses ,must i use - now i use 20 v - i thinking about the fuses bz my new voltmeter ending volt 15 v -
Re: fuses of morris minor 1000
Fuses are not generally 'voltage' rated (although obviously HV is a different matter) - and the normal 'amperage' rating for the Minor fuses is 35 amps. This is actually a LOT - but they are designed to let go only in the event of a short circuit - and not if there is a brief overload. They have nothing to do with your voltmeter.......what's it reading now - after a few days of solar charging? I guess you refer to the MAX reading on that meter dial of 15 volts. I doubt it's actually reading that figure - although a good dynamo and battery combo will be at 14 volts when running.
