Fuel tank drain bolt size

Hi,

Can anyone tell the the size (thread etc) for the fuel tank drain bolt, turns out the reconditioned one we bought a few years ago doesn't have a bolt in it and the old tank is long gone.

i can't answer your question without draining my tank! Although you may find a recon tank has a metric thread. Some companies don't always use the original thread patterns (can't be bothered). From memory the original thread is quite fine, possibly unf. If the company is still trading maybe worth a call.
