Door Card material

Post by iandromiskin »

Probably been asked many times before but does anyone know where I can buy rolls or sheets of the door card material ? Not the door card itself just the material that goes over it. Want to see if its possible or economic to recover the ones I have to match a set of new seats I may buy.

I've used this company before and sometimes Ebay has offcuts that are enough for what I need.

If you're on a really tight budget, have a look for knackered old leather or leatherette sofas that are really worn in the salvation army or other charity shop and skin the material off the back.

When I built my Berlinetta I got some from a local fabric shop that sells from the rolls.
As long as you don't want exact colour match or your doing the whole set it's cheap, place near me has some dark red very simular to my car and its £6.00 per meter and its a meter wide.

If I am passing I will take a picture. what colour are you after?
