The needle on the speedo of my 1958 1000 is fairly stable at 20 or 30, though there is some wobble but at 40 or 50 there's a 10mph wobble that I'm sute has got slightly worse over the years.
Is this likely to be aa wearing cable or is it more likely to be the speedo itself? There's no rasping sound that might indicate the inner cable's gone dry.
I use my car everyday but as the weather's getting a bit brighterr, I'm beginning to think it's time to sort out some things.
Regards,
Barry

Re: Speedo needle wobble
It's the cable...remove and lightly oil - but may be wise to fit a new inner.
