Indicator stalk
Hi there i have a 1971 Morris Minor Traveller in arctic white and I'm aged 15 years old.I have a problem with my indicator stalk, when i pull it down the miniature edison bulb flashes the end of stalk however it doesn't when pushing it up? any help/advice to what my problem is or could be many thanks Tom

Check that all the indicator bulbs are working, the flasher will only work if it has the correct load, 2x21+5W

yes all exterior bulbs are working and the bulb on the end of indicator stalk is brand new and function only when indicating right but does not flash for turning left? thanks for advice

Swap left and right wires - so the wrong lights flash - does the indicator light follow that swap - or stay the same?

Wire a test lamp to P on your flasher unit and see if that flashes both sides. If it does then the indicator stalk is not earthing the telltale lamp in the up position......maybe............Oh, and welcome.
