Dizzy ID

Post by welshrat »

I have been having a sort out of my shed and have come across two dizzies, wondering if anyone could ID them and tell me if they could be put to use on a minor/midget motor.

The first one is an elecrtonic job, I think it may have come of a mini, but not sure, its markings are AUU1082 2001 &

The second one may relate back to my 68 cooper, its numbers are 41843H & 43D4 0191[frame]Image[/frame]

I'll take a guess. The top one is maybe, off a Metro A+ engine. It has the shorter shaft and is held in place with 'fork' type clamp. The lower picture looks like a later type of dissy but would have a conventional clamp to hold it in place, as seen on the 25d dissys. 43d has no vac advance??
