My Sister-in-Law has a 1971 2 door Moggy that hasn't moved for 6 years. She very kindly offered to give it to me to fix up. I confess that I do not know a lot about working on these cars, but I do know that it will need a new floor and that is obviously the major structural part of the car. It failed it's MOT 6 years ago because the front and rear suspension (bushes on near side front have perished and near side rear valance holed). There is nothing left to weld on to, so hence the new floor!
So, before I take this on, I'm hoping someone can give me some indication of how serious this is and the likely costs involved.
Bodywork is generally in pretty good shape and there are no obvious parts missing.
Many thanks,[frame]
