seat belts
Is normal for Travellers not to be fitted with rear seat belts?
Re: seat belts
It's up to the individual owners as no Minors had rear seat belts fitted as standard. There is no legal requirement to fit rear seat belts, although from a safety point of view it's obviously a good idea to have them and there are various threads on the forum explaining how to do this.

Re: seat belts
As Louise said no Minor had rear seat belts fitted as standard. The law for compulsary wearing of front seatbelts came into effect in 1983. The fitting of rear seatbelts became standard in 1986/87 and it became manditory for children to wear seatbelts in the rear in 1989 and compulsary for all in 1991. Under the law it is compulsary to wear seatbelts where fitted in any vehicle wether standard fitment or retro fitted. Many a thread on here as to seatbelts. Personaly i'd fit them.
