A fellow I know is restoring a MM Sedan, I have not seen it yet.
I think he said the number was 58023, I looked up the Original MM Book and it puts it at about June / July 1950.
He said he thought it was a 1949 due to it NOT having the coach moulding around the rear of the roof pressing.
I can't find any referance to the date of manufacturing change regarding this coach moulding in the book
Can any body help?

Re: Dating 58023
Hi Oliver
The moulding was fitted from mid 1950 so 58023 is a 1950 car. It was for sale on ebay last year.
Could you ask the owner to forward his details please

Mine is registered July 1950 with a number just a few hundred prior to yours and it is moulding free.
