Thanks, unlike some replys that is a fair point and makes sence but for the fact that the ones I use come pri wired with spade connectors fitted to the wires. They come with a 35A fuse. I grabed a slack handfull years ago from a place I worked for. Thats not to say that your wrong. They were for a military vehicle modification so would have been the cheepest available and put together wrong. Ill cut the spades off and try it your way. The spring should be over the wire BEHIND the the little button end that contacts the fuse.
NOT between the button end and the fuse.
