My traveller came with a tuned A.H.Sprite engine and a mild steel inch and three-quarter (outside diameter) twin silencer exhaust, which has now dissolved.
Does anyone know whether this is a standard diameter for Sprite/midget exhausts? If not, can anyone recommend a company in South Yorkshire that can copy my existing remains?
Better still, does anyone have a similar diameter exhaust system for sale?
Thanks,Richard.
Exhaust help, please.

A 'tuned' Sprite engine indeed! What capacity is the engine? And - What exhaust manifold is fitted - can you post up a picture?

Re: Exhaust help, please.
Thanks for your reply, BMCecosse. I'm sorry but I appear to have lied about the engine of my traveller. Going back to the advert from which I bought the car, it is fitted with a 1310cc 100 bhp MG Midget engine. Whilst it is nippy, it is nowhere near 100 bhp!
The engine is fitted with a "maniflow race 3 into 1 header and exhaust". I don't really know what this means, but it appears to have a twin pipe from the manifold, becoming one 41mm diameter pipe about half way down the down-pipe. This pipe remains in strong, sound condition but from the horizontal onward it is gently decomposing, hence my need for a replacement.
With regard to posting a picture of this area, I understand that this would need the assistance of a spotty teenager and I haven't got one of those.
Regards, R.

It could well be 100 bhp - if you rev it hard enough......... Come back to us on a new thread to discuss how to make the most of it. The exhaust manifold sounds good enough - so yes you need a 'big bore' system to match it up.
Here you go.... http://morrisminorspares.co.uk/shop/adv ... em&x=0&y=0
And even I can do pictures if I have to - and far from a teenager now I'm afraid...... Just follow the instructions and reduce the size of the pics before sending.
