Yeah I saw this too. I know the car and often passed it whilst driving through Bradford on Avon. It had a Charlie Ware sticker in the rear side window. Black body with a maroon hood. I hope the pond life that stole it get what's coming to them.

The window stickers should have been enough to deter thieves!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Good to see messages of support re my stolen convertible(MBY291D). Thank you! I've had her for 18years and am gutted . She was actually fitted with anti theft immobiliser, but police think it may have been a trailer job! Thieves obviously determined! No news yet but I am heartened by tales of Morrises found!

Welcome Debsmog. Sorry to hear you haven't got it back yet. Do you have another Moggy as well?
Re: Stolen black convertible - MBY 291D
Still not a peep! I,m now, sadly, going through insurance channels. I don't have another mog..just MBY for the last 18 years. I'll definitely be looking for another mog in due course.

Scour ebay, classifieds etc. They will probably try to give it a new identity and palm it off to some unsuspecting person.
You know your own car when you see it regardless of the plates it is wearing.

Thanks for the advice!! I have been trawling ebay etc and will continue to do so. It could be that the thieves will lie low and then try to sell her! But, as you say, you definitely know your own mog!
