When I visited Europe last year I saw this Morris Lorry in Ireland.

Isnt that a repro lorry i think they were made by asquith and had a fibreglss body and use Ford transit diesel engines or others

Certainly looks like one that was around Hull several years back although it was a van it looks the same, I know it was a repro based on a transit chassis engine and running gear. I think it was in Wm Jacksons Bakery colours.

The number plate 89 C 1929 tells us it was registered in 1989 in the County of Cork and was the one thousand nine hundred and twenty ninth vehicle registered in that year, fiendishly simple but clever numbering system in Eire.

Horrible, there is a real Morris lorry on the A2 near where I join it every working day.
I'll try and get a picture so you can spot the differences!

Yup an asquith.

There is a small one next to my workshop, I think its triumph based but I haven't been able to work it out yet

This is a proper morris truck!
