Hi Chaps,

Can anyone tell me which throttle cable i need when using a HIF 44 carburettor?

A long one ! Pop into your local autoparts place and tell them the length you need......

trouble is, it needs the white plastic end on the cable outer to fit the heat shield :(

Only if you use the 'heat shield'......

it's actually called an "Abutment Plate", so are you saying that this isn't needed?
