I hear that Triumph dolomite/spitfire wheels will fit marina hubs, can anyone confirm/deny this?
Does anyone know of any other wheels I can fit to give my trusty moggy a slightly larger footprint on those wet west country roads?
cheers,
B

yeah, im thinking the same however, wheels and tyre No.'s are not my forte. Still learning and i think im right in saying. Marina hubs provide pcd of 4 1/2 inch, Minor 4" and spits etc are 3 1/2".craptiger wrote:a slightly larger footprint on those wet west country roads?

Apparently i like the Mogster more than the girlfriend!!!
interesting figures there. I'm assuming pcd is some sort of footprint ratio? Surely dolomite wheels aren't any thinner than original moggies are they?
As for your girlfriend, mine prefers my 1950 Land Rover to the moggy. Wait till the winter I say, then she'll change her tune - when there's a force 9 howling round her ankles and rain dripping on her head!!

Hi there,
P.C.D is the measurement of the stud spacing on the hub.
The Minor is 4 inch.
I THINK (best check!) Spitfires and Marinas are the same stud spacing - 3.75 inches???
ONLY the now rare Marina Vans and Pick-up's had the 4.5 inch stud spacing.
Can't you just fit a set of Marina wheels onto your Marina hubs???
They are 13 inch diameter and wider than the standard Minor ones.
Personally, I don't like the look of 13 inch wheels on a Minor - they don't fill up the wheel arch very well !
Cheers
