size of HT leads
what size are the HT leads on an MM 7mm or 8mm ? Has anyone tried the historical type of leads from Holden ?

Re: size of HT leads
As wide as will fit in the dizzy cap.
I buy a couple of yards and cut it to the required lengths with some spare
I do not suppose that the concours judge checks with a gauge

Re: size of HT leads
I am thinking of replacing my leads on my early series 2 with cotton braided type, can you please advise me when they are cut does the braiding fray out or is there a metthod to stop this I was thinking maybe a thin piece of Sellotape to keep it together until it either pushes into the dizzy cap or screws into the plug cap
