Welcome :D
For your son, eh? We've all heard that one before, it's for you really 8)

Hope you enjoy the ownership. Will you be coming to the National Rally? Love to see you there.

Hi Russ,
I hope you are a Minor enthusiast too, as I have seen several for sale recently, where classic cars were bought for son / daughter as a first car, only to find that they actually preferred a modern (no taste  ) and didn't want their parents gift.
Mind you if this was a ruse to buy one...... it's as good a reason as any!! :P
I hope you enjoy owning one as much as the rest of us. Look forward to seeing some pics of your car.
Best wishes,
Mike.

1970 Triumph Herald 1200: "Hetty" -- Driven back from Llangollen in Wales (twice.....)
1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine still fitted, wants work, so joins the queue for now......

hi Russ,

Please ask your daughter to join MMOC Young Members (see link in my sign off). We're all up for a laugh and the community spirit is fantastic.

We're part of the MMOC (we're a register), but due to the 'youth persona' of the group, we have a Facebook presence. Without some of the people I've met through the group, I wouldn't have my car...or the other one...or half the knowledge I have :)
Owner of Martha and Nancy - both ex-gov disabled blue MMs and Bee, a 1960 4 door in smoke grey.
MMOCYM forever. Join us. https://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/groups/MMOCYM/

PS. I blog sometimes www.idriveaclassic.com
