hi everyone,
after following some of the topics on this site for several months, i have finally taken the plunge and purchased a 1969
4 door saloon for my son who will start driving next year.may i take this opportunity to congratulate you all on the way this forum is conducted.i have followed several random threads & been astounded by the amount of knowledge & friendly advice shared by your members. i hope to post some pics. of the car soon & become part of it all.

Hi Russ,
I hope you are a Minor enthusiast too, as I have seen several for sale recently, where classic cars were bought for son / daughter as a first car, only to find that they actually preferred a modern (no taste ) and didn't want their parents gift.
Mind you if this was a ruse to buy one...... it's as good a reason as any!!
I hope you enjoy owning one as much as the rest of us. Look forward to seeing some pics of your car.
