holes in front bumper MM

Post by TvdWerf »

I found a better fitting frontbumper, but this one has some holes left and right on the top.
Does anyone know what is the reason for it, with pictures ;)[frame]Image[/frame]

The holes are to fit rubber spacers between the valance and the bottom of the front wings

Don't the rubber buttons fit on the bottom of the front wings and press down on the valance so they are out of site? If so those holes in the valance are a later mod by someone and should be filled.

I measured the positions left and right today, there is a difference.
So they look like hand drilled, I think I will close them with a little bit welding...
When someone knows the reason for the holes, I will do this next week, so I can paint them also without welding.
