mot on my series 11

Post by Jay Kay »

Does anybody know, what, and if any extra's are needed for a mot, (indicators, windscreen washer's etc) or can the car be keeped original, if intend to drive it on the road, only to shows and between storage place and my home, 3 miles away. This car has not had a mot for about 40 years, so iv'e no idea.
any info would be greatfully appreciated

Screen washers for sure, trafficators should take care of the requirement for indicators.
But for your own safety I'd say fit some flashers and maybe a high level brake light behind the rear window and remove when showing/judging.

Keep it original ! How old is the car? Pre 1960 cars will soon not need an MOT..... :D

Only legal thing you need are screenwashers. Not many original cars about now, so it would be nice to keep it that way.

Use the car regularly or you will spend all your time fixing electrics and replacing dried out seals
