Grill colour for Traveller

I'm wanting to paint my grill tomorrow but I'm unsure of the correct colour. The car is a 1969 Snowberry White Traveller. Any advice most wlcome please.

The grille will be the same colour as the bodywork. Contrasting grilles were only used on non white cars. My old '71 traveller was snowberry white.

If you happen to know where it went, I'd welcome any clues! It is currently SORN-ed accorrding to DVLA but was not renewed in November 2011 when the SORN ran out

"IF" it is the same car (number looks familiar) it was on SORN when I viewed it. Add was in my local paper. I seem to remember it had a green hand painted dash and I remember thinking it would take a lot of work to rub it down and repaint it white I was all set to buy it but then found one without a green dash If it helps, I can definately remember it was an Adderly Park built car....

Mmm sounds interesting. It was an Adderley Park car with the F at the end of the chassis number. I still have both the chassis and engine numbers too. It didn't have the green dash when I had it but that was almost 25 years ago. To be honest, I'm not bothered what condition it's in now as I fancy a full rebuild project to follow the nearing completion of my convertible. Have always loved the Traveller and in white I think they just look great, but despite efforts via the forum and the club magazine I have had no concrete leads to follow up. Couldn't get anything out of the DVLA and they wouldn't even forward a nice letter I wrote to the current owner offering to share some of the cars early history so I'm stuck unless, as you have, someone recognises the reg no or knows who has the car. I s'pose I could try putting something in the local Leamington paper to see if that works - wouldn't hurt I guess.

I can only vaguely remember where I went to view the car. I'll drive round that way when I get a chance and see if I can recognise the house and get an address for you.

Wow! - that would be excellent if you could. At least then I could write and ask if it was the same car and I'd have a bit of a trail to follow. Thanks so much for that
