hi everyone was just wondering if anyone could tell me out of curiosity how much my minor would have been when new its a oct 1970 2 dr saloon with no extras any answers will be graetly appreciated

I worked full time in a bank in '69(when we were good guys
)
I picked up £42 per month and my wages were around £640 pa,I now know I was worth less than a moggie

but what was the minor the equivalent of to todays cars? a golf? a focus?
You'd be looking at £18k for either of those (with numberplates and seatbelts
), so your years wages being less than the price of a car is pretty on the mark for someone just out of college. I don't know how old you were when working in your bank though.
