hey iv gone from the normal distributor to electronic, and was just wondering what to do with the second wire that comes out from the distributor, also would a rubber pipe be alright to go on the vacumn advance bypassing the valve looking like thing on the standard metal advance pipe

Can't advise on the wiring -sorry! But the vacuum pipe needs to have strong walls to resist the press of the atmosphere. Either metal - or hard plastic.
