Surviving Travellers?

Post by QuentinG »

Hello, having just joined the club and bought a 1971 Traveller I am enquiring whether any of my father's Travellers bought new are still about:

912(?) KOR Rose Taupe with red trim

BOR 759C Smoke Grey

MOT 902F was white with black trim and silver wheels but when last seen in the eighties had been repainted dark blue

I wonder if my new one YDN 500J was ever known to anyone in the club? The history passed to me is very limited.

DVLA reg check brings the following:

912KOR - Details not found

BOR759C - Details not found

MOT902F - Date of liability: 14/7/1989

So the first two could have been scrapped, or your reg's are wrong.

The last one's most recent tax disc expired a week before i was born. Could be in a barn somewhere!

Thanks, I did not know you could do these checks.
Reg nos. are definitely right on the last two and 95% sure on the first (I was only five when Dad sold it and can't find a picture)
