Uprated clutch for a 1098 flywheel?

Post by linearaudio »

Having got a 1275 engine ready to fit my Traveller, I am a getting a little worried about comments (and my past experience) of the standard 1098 clutch being a bit "marginal" for anything more than a standard 1098 engine. Is there any known higher rated clutch that would fit the 1098 mog flywheel, even if a bit of fettling were required?
Any positive comments welcome!!

I've been running a standard 1098 clutch on my 1275 A+ for about 2 years with no issues..... (big valve head, large bore exhaust and tubular manifold, 266 cam etc approx 80 bhp)
