The electronic ignition on modern cars is a very different thing to the electronic dizzy you can fit to a Minor.........

yes but this doesn't explain the rest,plus also the mechanical suffers from much more wear and tear .
we will have to differ on this for ever :D :D

Go for Megajolt if you want something 'approaching' modern car electronic ignition. It's a great system, and I wish I had it on my engine - but I just know that electronics don't agree with me !
