fiesta wishbone

Recently had new front wishbones on the wifes fiesta, however the rear rubber has split slightly on the edge (not total)? I don't think the ride is any worse for it but is this usual? There is also a split on the ball joint rubber behind the disc. Could this be a future mot failure?

Not use to these modern cars as much as mogs.

Modern or old, I think a split ball joint rubber would not go well on an mot.
