Good job, but make sure the plugs are gapped correctly. Whoever did mine appears to have just bunged them in; the transformation when properly gapped was remarkable!

As you've just done a load of servicing, I'd recommend to stop more frequently in the first part of the journey to do basic checks (oil / water / nothing fallen off). Presuming everything is perfectly ok after 20 miles, then 50, then another 50, then 100.
Sorry to say, a lot of teething trouble can come from new parts and/or fitting them ;-) Once you've got plenty of miles under your belt without finding anything on a check it's far less likely you'll have a problem. If you do find a fluid level dropping - stop more frequently in case the loss gets worse.
I have to say I often forget to take my own advice here and find out the water is too low etc.. a bit too late
as I'm an eternal optimist and didn't find any water loss at 20 miles, so why stop again for a few hundred miles...

Hey guys, thanks very much for all the help.
Happy to say me and the trusty Morris made it to Bath with no breakdowns or trouble at all.
Due to awful weather and a whole lot of diversions it took 4 hours....
